Ubisoft has exciting news for fans of the Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise. The company recently revealed that a new executive producer is set to take over the helm, signaling the development of Tom Clancy’s The Division 3. Julian Gerighty, currently the Creative Director of Star Wars: Outlaws, will transition to become the Executive Producer for The Division Brand once Outlaws is released.
Previously, Ubisoft confirmed the development of two The Division games: The Division Resurgence, a mobile game, and The Division Heartland, a survival shooter. However, with this announcement, players can now also look forward to a full sequel to 2019’s The Division 2. While details about Tom Clancy’s The Division 3 are scarce at this point, it is clear that its development will be led by Massive Entertainment.
Julian Gerighty shared his vision for the future of the franchise, emphasizing the importance of delivering high-quality experiences to players. He praised the cutting-edge visuals and incredible gameplay of the previous installments, stating that the goal is to consistently push the quality bar forward. With a talented team of developers working on the brand, Gerighty believes that having more consistency will elevate their work to new heights.
Ubisoft has not provided any information regarding platforms or a release window for Tom Clancy’s The Division 3. As Gerighty is yet to take over the franchise and assemble his team, it is safe to say that the game is still far from completion. Fans will have to wait patiently for further updates from Ubisoft.
Stay tuned for more exciting news and updates on Tom Clancy’s The Division 3 as development progresses. In the meantime, enjoy the existing games in the franchise and get ready for an even more immersive experience in the future.
