Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, has faced numerous hardships throughout his life. Orphaned by his parents at a young age, he was taken in and raised by his caring Aunt May and Uncle Ben. They provided him with love and guidance, shaping him into the hero he would become.
However, tragedy struck when Uncle Ben was killed in an act that would forever shape Spider-Man’s philosophy as a hero. Despite this loss, Aunt May continued to be a pillar of support for Peter.
The events of the first act of Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 took an even darker turn for Peter when Aunt May was tragically killed. This left him without any true parental figures, further adding to the weight of his already burdened life.
Peter Parker hasn’t forgotten all that his caring aunt and uncle have done for him. In Spider-Man 2, players have the opportunity to help Peter pay his respects at their gravesite. Not only does this gesture hold emotional significance for Peter, but it also rewards players with a Trophy.
The graveyard is located at the most-northeastern point on the New York map, specifically in Harlem. If you have unlocked fast travel in this district, you can quickly warp to the spot.
Once inside the graveyard, proceed forward down the middle path into the open field. As you explore, you might come across Mile’s father’s grave first. However, to find Aunt May and Uncle Ben’s graves, head directly to the right of Mile’s father’s grave.
Approach Aunt May and Uncle Ben’s graves and interact with the prompt. This will trigger a heartfelt scene where Peter talks to his late aunt and uncle, paying his respects and reflecting on their impact on his life.
Spider-Man 2 not only offers thrilling gameplay and exciting adventures but also delves into the emotional journey of Peter Parker. Honoring the memory of Aunt May and Uncle Ben allows players to connect with the character on a deeper level and appreciate the impact of these parental figures in Peter’s life.
So, if you’re up for the challenge, head to the graveyard in Harlem and help Peter pay his respects to Aunt May and Uncle Ben.
