Partway through Chapter 4 of Resident Evil 4’s Separate Ways DLC, you’ll come across a challenging lithograph puzzle. This puzzle is essential for progressing through the game as it opens a hidden door leading to a shield wall puzzle. By solving this puzzle, you’ll obtain one of the necessary ingredients for making new medicine. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to solve the lithograph puzzle.

Finding the Lithographs

When you first encounter the puzzle, you’ll notice a wall with two lithographs already set in it, accompanied by two empty slots. To solve the puzzle, you need to find the other two stone tablets and place them in the empty slots. Fortunately, these tablets are nearby and easy to locate.

The first stone tablet can be found in the same room as the lithograph puzzle.
The second stone tablet is on a desk in a room further down the main hallway.

Once you have both lithographs, proceed to the puzzle and insert the tablets into the empty slots.

Solving the Lithograph Puzzle

Next to each slot, you’ll notice a symbol, some of which may be partially scrubbed off. These symbols correspond to the symbols on each of the lithographs. To solve the puzzle, you must match the correct symbol and flip the lithographs to the right colors.

Top: Red fan with square border
Right: Black umbrella with square border
Bottom: Black dress with hexagon border
Left: Red hat with hexagon border
